Terms & Conditions

Welcome to DreamLifeGetaway! To ensure a seamless and professional travel experience, please take note of the following terms and conditions that apply to all bookings made with us. DreamLifeGetaway may be referred to as DLG throughout these terms.

Payments

  1. Invitation Requirement: Bookings can only be confirmed and payments made after receiving an official invitation from DreamLifeGetaway. Any payment made without an invitation will not be recognized, and DLG will not be held responsible for any associated errors or misunderstandings.

  2. A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total booking amount is required within 48 hours of receiving the invitation and making a reservation. Failure to make this payment may result in the cancellation of your booking.

  3. The remaining balance must be paid no later than four (4) weeks before the scheduled arrival date.

  4. Payment details, including bank transfer instructions, will be sent via email with your booking confirmation. Please include your full name and retreat date when making electronic payments.

  5. Additional charges, such as for laundry or other expenses, can be settled in cash or by direct transfer at the end of your stay.

Important: Full payment must be received no later than three (3) weeks before your arrival to avoid cancellation. Kindly notify us after completing any payment so we can confirm receipt.

Activity Disclaimer

  1. Activity Disclaimer: DreamLifeGetaway offers access to a range of activities, including but not limited to surfing, hiking, and guided tours. While we provide information and guidance, these do not constitute professional advice, safety assurance, or supervision. Participation in all activities is at your own risk, and DLG is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or other incidents that may occur.

  2. Risk Acknowledgment: Activities such as surfing and hiking carry inherent risks, including but not limited to injuries, accidents, and damage to personal or rental property. By participating, you acknowledge these risks and agree to take necessary precautions to ensure your safety and the safety of others.

  3. Equipment Use: Surfboards, hiking gear, and other equipment provided by DreamLifeGetaway must be used responsibly. If you damage or break any equipment during your use, you will be held financially responsible for repair or replacement costs. Replacement costs will be determined based on the current market value of the item.

  4. Physical Preparedness: Participants are responsible for assessing their physical and skill readiness before engaging in any activities. DLG is not responsible for injuries resulting from engaging in activities beyond your capabilities.

  5. Supervision and Safety: You are expected to adhere to safety guidelines and instructions provided by our team or local guides. DLG is not liable for incidents arising from reckless or unsafe behavior, failure to follow instructions, or engaging in activities under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Passports and Travel Visas

Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six (6) months after your intended return date. You are responsible for securing all necessary visas for your destinations and transit locations.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance at the time of booking to cover potential cancellation fees, accidents, or unforeseen circumstances. Please confirm that your insurance includes coverage for activities such as surfing, hiking, or other adventurous experiences.

Cancellations and Refunds

  1. Deposits (30% of the total booking cost) are non-refundable.

  2. For cancellations made more than 30 days before the arrival date, we will refund additional payments (beyond the deposit), less any applicable bank or transaction fees.

  3. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival will result in forfeiture of the total booking amount.

  4. No refunds are provided for early checkouts or no-shows.

  5. In the rare event that DreamLifeGetaway must cancel a retreat due to insufficient participant numbers or other unavoidable reasons, you will receive a full refund.

Conditions

  1. DreamLifeGetaway (DLG) shall not be held responsible for any disability, injury, death, damage, liability, loss, cost, expense, delay, inconvenience, and/or loss of enjoyment that may be suffered or incurred by you, any other person, or corporation, whether directly or indirectly, caused by or arising from:

  2. Force Majeure Events:
    Any events beyond the control of DreamLifeGetaway, including but not limited to war, civil unrest, terrorism, acts of government or authorities, extreme weather conditions, natural disasters (such as tsunamis, earthquakes, floods, fires, or winds), strikes, industrial action, illegal activities, accidents, or failure of transportation services, equipment, or machinery.

  3. Unmet Special Requests:
    The inability of DLG, its tour operators, hoteliers, transport providers, or other service providers to meet special requests, including those related to age, medical conditions, physical abilities, dietary needs, allergies, or preferences for smoking or non-smoking accommodations or seating.

  4. Third-Party Actions or Delays:
    Any negligence, delays, cancellations, or other actions or omissions by airlines, boat operators, land operators, transfer companies, or any other third parties involved in providing goods or services for your booking arrangements.

  5. Participant Behavior or Noncompliance:
    Any failure by you or other participants to comply with laws, notices, instructions, tour information, or itineraries provided by governments, regulatory authorities, DLG, its service providers, or other third parties. This includes incidents caused by:

  6. Alcohol or drug consumption.

  7. Reckless or dangerous behavior.

  8. Failure to take necessary precautions or exercise due care.

  9. Participating in activities beyond personal abilities or disregarding safety measures.

  10. Activity-Specific Conditions:
    Neither DreamLifeGetaway nor its representatives shall be held liable if:

  11. Satisfactory conditions for activities (e.g., surfing, hiking, or similar) are unavailable or do not meet expectations due to climatic, oceanic, or environmental factors.

  12. Surf conditions are beyond your capabilities or comfort levels.

  13. Visibility or access for activities is restricted.

  14. Any sporting or leisure activity is deemed too dangerous or is prohibited due to safety concerns.

  15. Participation in all activities is entirely at your own risk. DLG and its service providers are not obligated to assess or monitor your fitness, skill, or readiness for any activity, nor are they responsible for providing advice or updates on related conditions.

  16. Rights to Restrict or Cancel Activities:
    DreamLifeGetaway and its service providers reserve the right, at their absolute discretion and without liability or obligation to compensate, to prohibit or restrict any activity or to cancel or alter any service or itinerary as they deem necessary.

  17. Client Responsibilities:
    It is the responsibility of each client to thoroughly review their itinerary and ensure all details align with their instructions. Any discrepancies or errors must be reported to DLG within a reasonable time. Failure to do so will result in the assumption that all details are correct. Requests for corrections made outside a reasonable timeframe or after payment may be treated as booking changes and may incur additional fees.

  18. Accuracy of Information:
    DreamLifeGetaway does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information provided by its employees, contractors, agents, or representatives, nor by its service providers. Participants are responsible for verifying details and understanding that any statements made by DLG personnel or associates are not guaranteed to be comprehensive or binding.

  19. Disclaimer Regarding Uncontrollable Factors
    DreamLifeGetaway will not be held responsible for conditions such as weather, wave quality, or unforeseen circumstances affecting the enjoyment or feasibility of any planned activity. These factors are beyond our control, and refunds or compensation will not be provided for such situations.
    You understand and accept that travel experiences may involve risks, and DreamLifeGetaway is not liable for the actions or negligence of third-party providers. By proceeding with your booking, you agree to these terms and assume all risks associated with your participation in activities.

  20. Agreementt

    • By booking a trip with DreamLifeGetaway, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and       agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

    • These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the participant and DreamLifeGetaway and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
